When I die, don’t sings songs about my life, yeah—I’ve wasted all of it on a wait. Confession: waste away. Promise, then betray. Fade further every day. But it was all just a dream… Twisted words, I've been deceived. Mirroring my life played out in jest; Find your own way out. Betraying your being by awaiting existence, this path will never face its glory. I've been deserting the present, forever going on searching. Awaiting existence… of yourself. Gaining prominence while fabricating provenance. Mirroring my life played out in jest; find my own way out. We are all defined by time. You waste your life; each mask a coward. We are not the ones we're waiting for. I've seen my own light (blinding and alleviating). We are not the ones we're waiting for. Standing at the edge of my own life. Betraying your being by awaiting existence, this path will never face its glory. Saying burn, saying yearn, time to return. I rest knowing that I’ve learned. We’ll never need to use these words anymore, for we are not the ones we’re waiting for. I’ve seen my own light—I don’t need to lie—we are not the ones we’re waiting for. We are not the ones we're waiting for. I've seen my own light (blinding and alleviating). We are not the ones we're waiting for. Standing at the edge of my own life.

Snake, rise. Feign injury; from your pulpit cry. Clawing as you climb to the top of your tower of lies, show conviction: deny the evidence, call them pestilence, quote the credulous—constructing empires—like a coward in denial. Writhing in hellfire (on an exodus of reason and rhyme) for a taste of pure desire. The Cry Craven relies on self-deception to conjure the will to fight back all the voices who know we lie. Cover my eyes and slither into this masquerade where I won't be recognized. I'm drowning out my fears with lullabies. Why am I beholden to this? Crying as you coil deep inside of your spineless disguise (self-eviction): deny the evidence, call them pestilence, quote the credulous—archaic empires—like a coward in denial. Facade: fading. The fire: gaining. Lost track while blaming. My pedestal is shaking. Snake awakens. Tongue split wide, just like your pulpit and your lies. Your fantasy is crumbling around you. Slither down; face the reality. You've built this cage to protect you, but minds in cages are never free. Why is this all going up in flames? Surely I can't be to blame. I think I can put it back together, although many parts must be rearranged. Parlay blame into a gain. My official plea is plain: The cry craven denies their contributions and bolstering of this fight. Uncover my eyes, a miserable lie. Confusing sounds resounding... Why do I feel paralyzed? Drowning in my fears, I forfeit life. Yet, I'm still beholden to this. (Trauma dies hard.) Cowering as you crawl to the end of your recreant life (dereliction): deny the evidence, call them pestilence, quote the credulous o'er smouldering fires, like a coward in denial. Fire: consuming. Emptiness: looming. Nothing remaining... but empty cries and cravings. Just empty cries and cravings. Just empty cries...

Hey… do what your whispers say: “Take me 'cross the Rubicon.” Fate… disfavored life—cast aside. Turn your eyes away. Estrange. Obey. There is nothing wrong with disregard. Lies… take everything then tell you you’re all for naught. Praise… faith only feeds you as far as the mind allows. Therein lies… the hope that you felt was merely your shallow mind. Let’s never repeat this, so kill it before it grows. We are losing—face down—screaming. I won’t deny an easy end. Hey… do what’s been said: “Your only fear is what is real.” I’d die for one extra breath—a way forward. Emptiness that's never gone... while I face it all alone, my sake is taken granted. I’m not ready, not ready to come undone. Not done... For once I’m gonna stand right… where you have... you’ve flooded it all. I know I’ll lose time, but I’m taking it all. I’m gonna take this fall now, and sink my ship once and for all; here, this night. But you’ll be the only one here left dying in the sun. Though we were waiting for a look inside the extended palm of an open eye. I am not the only one here who would, who could, who should perceive this lie. Before the end, we all had gone too far. We were living another lie inside while breaking the windows in on another life. Our bright... my bright idea. Finally I realize… you’ve fought me out. My dreams; you dreamt me out. But I’m not breathing now—I am living face down. Realign, identify, open your eyes. Fading in and out of conscious life, these fantasies flood in with audacity. Wakening to find I’m still alive. Don’t be fooled now by another lie. I am not holding back this torrent anymore. You are flaking off—not where I belong. I'm brewing for a comeback: you must part from me now. Part from me now. Consequence presents a solemness, so immense and ominous. Strung along into a maze you've built to prove your self-dominance—my life’s influence. Kill it before it grows. Eyes… once twice forgotten, they stare in disbelief. Left behind… never retreat. We will face abandonment, so bear in mind… we’ll never repeat this, so kill it before it grows.
